We are so excited in your interest to join the Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin for our first ever virtual Denim & Diamonds event. COVID-19 has certainly thrown us a few curves in service since March and we were hoping it would be gone before our banquet in October. While it is not gone, we are thankful for the creative forces who have agreed to help us do a small in-person event as well as venture into the virtual world. A huge thanks to MSGPR for helping make this happen.
While we are not completely sure how this will all work out, we thank you for wanting to be a part of this new venture. To best ensure the success of this event, we want to give you as much information as possible.
Here are some important things to know about the virtual event:
- You will be sent a link to watch the virtual banquet approximately 2 days before the event. We will cast the event on our website as well as Facebook.
- The video will be cast at 6:30 p.m. with a 10 minute countdown timer to help you get everything set up properly and ready for the video.
- If you are comfortable, we encourage you to invite a few friends over and help expand our reach. Consider having a “viewing party” and introduce your friends to the great ministry of PHCOL and elicit their financial and prayerful support of what God is doing.
- If you are a Denim Sponsor, remember that you will receive a gift certificate able to purchase eight (8) take and bake meals from Tome Catering that would be perfect for a watch party.
- You, or your business, will be credited for your sponsorship at the end of the video.
Don’t forget about the Online Auction
We are excited to have our first ever online auction. Here are some details
- The auction will be available as early as Monday, September 21st
- Please visit www.phclufkin.org/online-auction if you want to take an early look.
- Please peruse the online auction and see if there is anything that meets your liking or share the link with your family or friends who may be interesting in placing a bid.
- All of the proceeds from the auction will directly benefit our resource room – supplying diapers, wipes and lots of items to help bring Joy to the Journey of Parenting.
- Our financial goal for the auction is $8,000 so please share the link with others and help us continue to make a huge difference.
- All bids will close at 10 a.m. on the night of the banquet, Friday, October 2nd.
