Since 1984, the Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin has educated, equipped, and enabled families to make positive choices that support a healthy parenting journey. Our primary focus is to provide positive alternatives to abortion and to help our clients experience the love of Jesus Christ.  While discussing the option of abortion is one of our primary focuses, we in no way refer or suggest abortion as a positive option.  However, we believe it is important for families to understand the full gravity of this choice and therefore want to fully educate them on this option. Many of our staff have faced these same decisions and can help you sort through your fears and educate you on abortion, parenting, and adoption.   We will help determine how far along your pregnancy has progressed and direct you to the help you need to make a positive choice for you and your baby. Before you make your choice, give us a chance to love you through what could possibly one of the most difficult times in your life.  Whether parenting or choosing to place your child for adoption, we want to help guide you.

We offer life mentoring, prenatal and parenting education, and material assistance during pregnancy and up to the child’s 3rd birthday.  We realize that expecting a baby can be a scary but exciting time in anyone’s life and our goal is to help you to have a positive experience.  It is our desire to help bring joy to the journey of parenting.   Parenting is a tough job and it is important that parents have positive, encouraging and helpful influences to help them along the way.  We would love to be that influence for any expectant or parenting family.

Adoption is an incredibly difficult yet loving decision to make for a family who is not yet ready for the parenting journey.  At PHCOL we will gladly discuss this option and mentor families through the difficult choice.  Once the choice for moving forward with adoption is made, we will facilitate connection with an adoption agency.
