Since 1984, the Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin has offered needed information, resources, and loving support to sexually active, pregnant and mothering women of all ages, encouraging positive responses to some of life’s difficult choices during pregnancy and parenting.
Our primary focus is to provide positive alternatives to abortion for those facing an unexpected pregnancy. Several of our staff members have made the choice to terminate a pregnancy and therefore understand how difficult this decision can be. We can help you sort through your fears; educate you on abortion, parenting, and adoption; help determine how far along your pregnancy has progressed and direct you to the help you need to make a positive choice for you and your baby. Before you make your choice, give us a chance to love you through what could possibly one of the most difficult times in your life.
For those who choose to parent, we offer mentoring, education, and material assistance during your pregnancy and through your child’s first birthday. It is our desire to help bring joy to the journey of parenting through our My 9 Months Care and Learn to Earn Parenting Programs.
ALL OUR SERVICES ARE FREE OF CHARGE and there are no qualifications to meet.
The Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin is conveniently located at 401 Gaslight in Lufkin (close to Woodland Heights Hospital) and is on the Blue route of The District Transit System for those who need transportation to and from our facility.
